Christmas Card

1
Start with a blank piece of regular ink jet printing paper (8.5"x11").
2
This is optional, and if not desired, skip to next step. You can cut a pattern out by cutting half of it with the paper folded into a 8.5"x5.5" rectangle, your angle for working on it is up to you. Either with the spine (or crease) on the left, or on the top.
3
Fold the paper into a rectangle about 8.5"x5.5" rectangle as stated above. Again, the position of the crease is up to you. But if your language is a right to left, then the left or top is changed to right or bottom. Example: English (UK, US, AU, whatever nation) is left to right, but Japanese is right to left.
4
Draw. Come up with something like a snowman, reindeer, Santa (in other nations he's called Father Christmas, St. Nick, etc), Christmas Tree, and anything else Christmas related you can think of. Leave room on the front to write Dear (recipient's name), and on the inside to write a message, and Merry Christmas, (Your name here).
5
Fill in the message, Dear (receiver's name), and Merry Christmas, (your name).
6
Fold it into a small enough size to enclose in a store bought mailing envelope.
